E-book readers are all the rage these days, and if you haven’t jumped on the Kindle bandwagon, perhaps you should try “reading for a cause.” Sony has announced its Sony Reader Pocket Edition breast-cancer-awareness bundle, which includes the Reader in “rose,” a gold clutch-like case, and four free e-book downloads. The 7.76-ounce reader has an 800-by-600-pixel display, a 5-inch screen, and a battery that lasts for up to 7500 continuous page turns. You can pick up the bundle from DataVision for $200. Proceeds will go toward Sony’s $110,000 donation to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
